Tri-Lox uses wood reclaimed from New York City water towers to create distinctive feature surfaces at Shake Shack locations. These local materials tell Shake Shack’s Manhattan origin story as the brand expands globally, and embody its values of honesty, quality, and environmental responsibility.

UNIFORMITY WITHOUT CONFORMITY

We looked to the original Shake Shack building in New York’s Madison Square Park for design inspiration. The chain’s first burgers were served within sight of nearby water towers, steadfast fixtures on the city’s skyline.

Tri-Lox works with Shake Shack to find scalable specifications for feature surfaces at each location. Our vertically integrated, sourcing-to-shipment capabilities allow us to manufacture sustainable wood products that are hand-selected, kiln dried, remilled for standardization, and custom-finished.

For Shake Shack, that means guaranteed consistency, unique character, and ease of installation, in Shacks from Phoenix to London.

INGREDIENTS WITH INTEGRITY

Shake Shack cares about where its food comes from. Their supply chain demands quality ingredients that are ethically sourced, ecologically friendly, and produced locally. Our sustainable wood products meet those standards by nature. We manage the manufacturing process from raw wood to finished product, which means we can trace each plank’s history back to the source, and assure consistent quality, even on a large scale.
